Significant Progress at Dursunbey Vocational School of Higher Education in 4 Years: Momentum Gains in YKS Success Rankings

Balıkesir University Dursunbey Vocational School continues to be the top choice for prospective students thanks to its commitment to quality education and its practical course offerings. According to YKS statistics for the 2023–2026 period, compiled based on data from ÖSYM and YÖK Atlas, the success rankings of the programs offered at our vocational school have shown a strong upward trend, rising year after year.

Improvements in Success Rankings Over the Past 4 Years Based on YÖK Atlas data, the increases in the success rankings of the programs offered at our vocational school over the past 4 years are as follows:

•    Forestry and Forest Products: The success ranking, which was 946,674 in 2023, improved to 606,190 by 2026, marking an increase of 340,484 places.

•    Construction Technology: The program steadily improved its ranking from 1,855,605 in 2023 to 1,099,968 in 2026, recording an improvement of 755,637 places.

•    Jewelry and Jewelry Design: It improved its ranking from 2,030,035 in 2023 to 1,486,888 in 2026, showing an increase of 543,147 places.

•    Green and Ecological Building Technology: According to 2025 data, the program’s ranking improved by 206,051 places, rising from 1,753,054 to 1,547,003 in just one year.

Enrollment Rate Exceeding 100% in 2026 According to the 2026 YKS placement results announced by ÖSYM, the quotas for our college’s programs have been completely filled, and full enrollment has been achieved, including students placed through the supplementary placement round:

•    Forestry and Forest Products: Quota: 20 | Admitted: 20 | Minimum Score: 323.691

•    Construction Technology: Quota: 35 | Admitted: 36 | Minimum Score: 278.961

•    Green and Ecological Building Technology: Quota: 35 | Admitted: 36 | Minimum Score: 246.640

•    Jewelry Making and Jewelry Design: Quota: 40 | Admitted: 41 | Minimum Score: 250.862
