An Opening Lecture on "The Impact of Vocational Education on Economic Development" Was Held at Dursunbey Vocational School

Prof. Dr. Abdullah Soykan, Director of Balıkesir University's Edremit School of Civil Aviation, delivered an opening lecture on "The Impact of Vocational Education on Economic Development" at Dursunbey Vocational School.

The program, which saw strong participation from academic staff and students, began with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Kudret Gül, Director of Dursunbey Vocational School. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Soykan then addressed the audience, emphasizing the contributions of vocational education to the development of individual skills and the sustainable development of the national economy.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Soykan emphasized that vocational education not only trains the workforce but also serves as a strategic element supporting innovative thinking, productivity, and regional development, and emphasized the need to strengthen university-industry collaboration.
