Advisory Board Meeting with External Stakeholders Held at Dursunbey Vocational School
Within the framework of Balıkesir University’s
accreditation process, an Advisory Board
Meeting with external stakeholders was held at Dursunbey Vocational
School in order to enhance the quality of education and training, and to make
it more up-to-date, efficient, and effective.
The meeting was attended
by local sector representatives, public institutions, non-governmental
organizations, and alumni. Discussions focused on aligning educational programs
with current needs, improving students’ professional skills, and strengthening
cooperation with the business world.
With the
contributions of external stakeholders, important evaluations were made
regarding the continuous updating of programs, increasing opportunities for
practical training, and improving the employability of graduates.
The administration
of Dursunbey Vocational School emphasized the importance of incorporating the
opinions and suggestions of external stakeholders into educational processes in
line with Balıkesir University’s accreditation objectives. It was stated that
the meeting would contribute to positioning the school more strongly at both
regional and national levels.
