About Internet Access for Newly Enrolled Students
To connect to the university network (in laboratories
or via wireless access), you must have an account in the BAUN Identity
System. Newly registered students at our university are passively enrolled
in this system. All students are required to perform the following steps to
activate their account and create a password:
- Enter
your Turkish ID number and Student Number on the webpage below to perform
a search.
Click
HERE for Identity System
- On the
screen that appears after the search, click the "ACTIVATE MY
ACCOUNT" button.
- On the
opened form, enter your phone number and e-mail address to activate your
account.
- When
the account activation process is successfully completed, a password will
be generated. You can log in with this password at the address below and
then create your own password.

IDENTITY
AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM
To be able to connect to Balıkesir University’s network via wired/wireless
access or to access electronic resources from outside the university network,
you must have a user account in the Identity Authentication System.
While using all the network and internet services provided by our university,
it is mandatory to comply with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, the policies
of ULAKNET, and the decisions and policies of the university’s
administrative board.
User registration is carried out by the IT Department. Registered users
must click the "NEW REGISTRATION" link located at the top of
this screen to activate their account and obtain their initial password.
